First things first, I am a widow. My husband died in January 2022 from complications with Covid. I am looking for a friend, companion, and another love of my life (it happened for my late husband and I’m hoping it will happen for me). As you can see, I am an optimist.
I live in Tacoma with my mother. She moved in with my husband and I two years before he passed. We have a good relationship with only a little bit of bickering.
My work is also in Tacoma, I am a preschool teacher. Full-time, Monday - Friday. Hopefully, we both have weekends off!
Are used to live in Seattle, but moved south when I met my husband. I miss the convenience of city life, but I enjoy living closer to the mountain and the rivers. On the weekends, I enjoy getting out of the house, running errands, visiting a farmers market, meeting for coffee, or going to a movie.
By the way, I really like coffee! I also like to dressed up in costumes and hang out with friends. Specifically, Steampunk. We don’t always dress steampunk, but we usually dress steampunk. I also hang out with a group of women that raises money for various charities. When we dress up it is usually based on 50s, 60s, and rockabilly. This group of women is also tattooed, pierced, and proud of it!
At home I have a dog and my mother has a dog. They are our fur babies. Do not underestimate our love for them. They help to keep us sane and happy. 😊
