I am a 37 year old warm, friendly and passionate female who loves to laugh and enjoys good company/conversation. Passions in life are contemporary/modern art & design (last exhibitions seen were Tracey Emin, Francis Bacon and Louise Bourgeois); minimalism; photography; music (over 400 CDs but currently listening to Sigur Ros, Nouvelle Vague, Pink Martini, Rilo Kiley, Goldfrapp, Roisin Murphy and lots of 80's music - my era!); film (few of my faves: Sideways (anyone up for a vineyard road trip?!) Groundhog Day, Lost in Translation, Being John Malkovich, Leaving Las Vegas, Amelie, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Pan's Labyrinth, Bladerunner; comedy (Mighty Boosh, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Peep Show, The Office, Extras, Adam & Joe, Young Ones, League of Gentlemen & anything with Louis Theroux/Gordon Ramsay!), favourite TV programme is Tribe/Amazon (loving Bruce Parry!) a few of my favourite books are Life After God, Generation X (Douglas Coupland) Moab Is My Washpot (Stephen Fry), The Meaning of Liff (Douglas Adams) & Long Walk To Freedom (Nelson Mandela); dining & drinking wine (smooth reds) & travelling (on the wish list; Iceland, Hong Kong/Tokyo, Northern Lights). Oh & I have a thing for primates too.

I am looking for that genuine special someone to spend the rest of this thing called life with. I don't have a particular type. However, I would like mutual chemistry and someone who I can learn from and enjoy experiences with.
