I Would Describe Myself As

Music is extremely important in my life. Many people describe themselves as being "visual". I am very "audio". I particularly love Blues, but depending on my mood, I've been known to listen to almost everything else: classical, opera, jazz, standards, the sound of your voice. If you know who Bela Fleck is, that is a definite plus. If you don't know who he is, be prepared to find out. I'm not a fan of metal and rap, but if you searched the 9000+ songs in my iPod, you'd probably find a few of those, too.

I decorate cakes, play the piano (not well, but I enjoy it), write (mostly fiction), various crafty-type things and I'm typically always looking for something new to try or learn. I speak Italian. I like to explore new places. I have two Siamese cats.

I have my "dream job" as an Access Developer for a small business owner. I love it. It challenges me and is never boring.

I lived in New York City for years and still miss it. I moved back to Indy in 12/2001, so I was in NYC on 9/11. Further, while I was not working in the WTC on that day, I was working there at the time of the first attack in 1993 and through early 2001, so 9/11 was very hard for me. I moved back to Indy to be close to my family.

I don’t have children, but I seem to forge special bonds with kids (maybe that’s because I still act like one?).

I am a “night-owl”, but my job allows for much flexibility. Planning is okay…as a Virgo, I’m a planner. But if you call me up and say “wanna have coffee in an hour?” I could probably be there. I’d be just as likely to ask you that, too. I have a weird sense of “time”. My friends will tell you I have my own time zone. I don’t wear a watch and most of the time, I have no clue what time it is. I also try not to be too late, but I'll always call if I am running late.

I'm a big girl who's a supermodel where it counts. Though I'm trying to do things more healthfully (and have been successful with it according to my doctor), I am basically comfortable with who I am.
