I never thought that my life would be as it is now. I had a different view of it in my minds eye just fresh out of high school. It has twisted and turned so much that I hardly recognize it. If someone were to listen to my story they would probably call it tragic. Pain, loss, abandonment, abuse, confusion. Not any different than most people. I however, would not call it that. I count every blessing now. I take very little for granted, and the exciting part is that I get to reset. I'm thankful for the lessons I've learned. I was a liar, but I now know the value of honesty. I've cheated, and now know the value of a good woman and the value that is inside me. It was I that was lacking then, not the people I hurt with my petty selfishness. I have been and continue to be lonely. Karma as it were, but I do believe in forgiveness and redemption. I'm missing a woman in my life. I miss her warm breath in my ear when she whispers to me. I miss the smell of her perfume on me, her healing touch and her calming, soothing voice. Is she out there? I like to hope so. I just need someone to bet on me...
