Me describiría a mi mismo como
Anyway, I have just recently moved to Portland and have been in the NW since 2001. I am originally for North Central TX and I grew up on a very large crop farm. I played basketball and track in high school and was facing a scholarship to play for Notre Dame before moving cities.
I'd like to meet someone that I could hang out with once in a while, even if they don't live in Portland. Right now I'm just looking for someone that I could enjoy joking around with (conversations on the phone) and doing things with and to be comfortable with. If it develops into more, than that would be awesome; my ultimate goal. I do eventually want to develop a committed relationship with someone.
I like doing all kinds of things like hiking, tennis (for fun), basketball (for competition), taking walks around town and especially out of town, a comedy club show, batting cages, billiards, target shooting, etc. But mostly I spend my time at home (I work from home) so that would be cool as well to do that and cook and watch some shows.
I served as a Counter Intelligence Agent for the U.S. Army from '98 to '01 and was last stationed in upstate New York. I miss it for the cool stuff we got to do, the traveling, and the awesome friends I made (Well, we all had at least one thing in common so we could complain about it together...LOL).
I am educated and am still continuing to learn. I'm looking to attend P.C.C. to continue my transfer degree or The Art Institute of Portland, Colorado, New York or The New England Art Institute in Mass, for Audio and Media Arts. I'd also like to obtain a pilot's license someday. My dad and I used to go flying together a lot when I was a little girl.
I definitely have many goals I would like to achieve and one of them is forming a deep, loving, meaningful relationship with and through God with my soul mate. I aspire to have a closer relationship with HIM and seek a partner that does too.
And one thing I want to get straight is that there is a huge difference between being Spiritual and studying the Word and being religious; I follow no organized for-profit religion. Anyone who thinks the same understands what I mean. I am excited though for Mars Hill out of Seattle planting a church here in Portland. They are awesome and nontraditional.
