I’m caring, reliable, passionate, independent, smart, genuine, caring, loveable and cautiously optimistic. I can be your biggest ally and loudest cheerleader if you let me. I’m the girl next door who is more comfortable in laid back social settings than I am at fancy parties. I try not to take myself too seriously.
I moved to DC in July of 2010. I spent most of my life in a small town and knew I wanted something more. I am the quintessential Midwestern girl. I have been told I'm too nice for the city. I'm the girl who can be found offering directions to tourists or smiling at strangers on the metro. One can never have a circle of friends too wide. I lived in the city for my first two years here, but decided that the big city life wasn’t for me. I really love Old Town Alexandria. It’s slower pace and green space is more my style.
I surround myself with positive people in life. I like to learn and feel that we can never reach our full potential if we are standing still. I've been lucky in life to know some truly brilliant people. I believe that people are brought into our lives for a reason. It is with that in mind that I live my life without regrets. I am fortunate to have a job that I truly enjoy working with people who never cease to amaze me.
